We were honored to be named 2025 Business of the Year by the Alamosa Chamber.

Turns out doing things the right way still counts. Awards, for us, are just an external acknowledgement of internal excellence. We never set out to win awards. But when we bring one home, we make sure to celebrate the team and all the hard work they put in. It’s always a team effort around here.

🚑 We Helped Provide Free Wi-Fi for First Responders

When seconds matter, connection matters.

In 2025, we helped provide free, secure Wi-Fi to first responders, so they could stay connected even in places where cell service drops out. It’s a small way to back the people who protect our communities every day.

🏪 Protecting Small Businesses from Cybercrime

We’re now supporting 300+ local businesses with business-grade internet and cybersecurity. From shops and restaurants to offices, clinics, and everything in between, SmartBiz helps small businesses exceed expectations in every way.

These are the places that open early, close late, and keep our communities moving. We’re proud to help keep them connected, protected, and focused on their work. 

And it wasn’t just business owners who recognized the value and impact of SmartBiz. TMC recognized SmartBiz with the 2025 Customer Product of the Year award for how it simplifies business IT, grows business with a custom captive portal, and protects businesses from sophisticated cybercrime.

🔒 2.7 Million Threats Blocked

Some of the most important work we do never gets noticed — and that’s exactly the point.

In 2025, Jade blocked 2.7 Million threats to our customers’ homes and businesses. Included in this significant number are both physical threats to homes and businesses and cyberthreats like phishing scams, malware, instructions, viruses, and even web threats. The best outcome is often the one that never happens.

🌱 Expanded Our Sustainability Footprint

We didn’t just talk about sustainability in 2025, we built it into how we operate.

From adding hybrid trucks to expanding our sustainability program, we took real steps to reduce our footprint and invest in the long haul. Keeping our planet healthy means making conscious decisions – even when it’s inconvenient – to use renewable energy and reduce waste. We’re so on top of this!

🏔️ The New Patch Addition: Cuchara Patch

Cuchara Mountain Park just hit refresh. The ski resort has been offline since 2000, but thanks to a little Wi-Fi and a lot of local love, it’s ready to make tracks again. Thirty acres. One lift. Zero pretension. It’s skiing the way it oughtta be – simple, affordable, and totally chill. And we made a patch to celebrate.
