You may have seen the announcement: Jade Communications has acquired Cyber Mesa, an internet provider serving Santa Fe and Española, New Mexico. It’s exciting news, and if you’re a Jade customer here in Colorado, you might be wondering what it means for you.

Growing Means More Stability

Jade has spent nearly 40 years growing the right way—one community at a time, with the same hands-on, local approach our founder Alan Wehe started with. Now led by his sons, co-CEOs Josh and Jordan Wehe, that philosophy hasn’t changed, it’s just found a new home in Santa Fe and Española. When family-owned Cyber Mesa became available, it was clear it would be a good fit with our values and provide more opportunities for people in NM and CO to receive quality internet service. Being financially strong enough to expand means we’re financially strong enough to keep investing in the network and people you count on right here in Colorado.

Alamosa Will Always Be Home, Literally

Jade’s headquarters is staying in Alamosa. Full stop. This is where Jade started and where we live. As we scale regionally, we’re keeping our HQ here. Bringing on a new market means bringing on new demand, and we’ll be growing our team in Alamosa to keep up with the demand. This regional growth locks in long-term job security for our current Alamosa team and lays the groundwork for new tech, customer service, and operations jobs right here at home to support the bigger footprint.
